Marcelle Wood is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Hanover Research, one of the AMA top 50 market research firms in the US, where she oversees all areas focused on human capital including talent acquisition, talent retention, performance management, learning and development, and corporate culture including employment branding. Before joining Hanover Research, Marcelle was a recruiting manager and talent management senior manager at Gartner, known as Corporate Executive Board at the time. At CEB, she helped scale the Content Delivery, research, sales, account management, and product teams. Marcelle started her recruiting career as an international recruiter for World Vision, a humanitarian aid, development, and advocacy organization, staffing emergency response teams for the Tsunami Response and Rebuilding efforts in South East Asia.
Alan Henshaw is currently a consultant, supporting comScore’s talent acquisition team where he supports the growth of the org’s engineering, analytics, and database teams. In September, Alan will be joining Amazon Web Services' Special Projects team. Prior to comScore, Alan was the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition for Slalom, a global strategy, innovation, and technology consulting firm based in Seattle. He was also a talent acquisition manager at Opower, which was acquired by Oracle. With 11 years of experience, Alan’s last six years have been focused mainly around engineering, product, UX, and design recruiting.
Dawn Mitchell is the Director of Talent Acquisition at Appian, the leading provider in low-code software development platforms that enable organizations to rapidly develop powerful and unique applications. Previously, she was on Opower’s (acquired by Oracle) talent acquisition team, moving up in the org from manager, to senior manager, and then director of their overall team. Dawn also spent seven years at Red Hat, where she supported growth on the sales, marketing, product marketing, and corporate functions and helped to save the org $1.2 million by bringing an entirely outsourced hiring process in-house.
Bill Blackford is the Director of Talent Acquisition at Frontpoint, one of the leading nationwide providers of interactive home automation technology. Possessing 13+ years of experience, he has consistently driven hiring results for growth organizations supporting various talent needs with a focus on Sales, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Performance Marketing, & Executive Search. With a data-driven approach to hiring, Bill has continually optimized efficiencies & performance results within his teams. Prior to Frontpoint; he led Talent Acquisition for Merlin International, a $150mil IT Solutions Provider.
