Katie Gechijian is a Lead Consultant at Proactive Talent Strategies focused on Recruiting Optimization, On-Demand Recruiting, and Sourcing Coaching/Training using diverse techniques and technology. Katie has spent the last 15 years in financial services talent acquisition, most recently as a VP of Talent Acquisition at Wells Fargo. During her 11 years with Wells Fargo, she created and led the Enterprise Sourcing Forum and was a champion for innovation in the bank’s pursuit of finding, engaging, and hiring prospective team members. She is on the Hiretual Advisory Board, and is becoming a recognized speaker on behalf of companies such as CareerArc and Entelo. Earlier this year, she placed second out of more than 1,200 participants in the 2016 World’s Greatest Sourcer competition, held by Entelo & The Sourcing Institute. Katie seeks to build sustainable communities and leverages her social networking expertise to create groups both in her neighborhood and nationally. She leads multiple fundraising activities for her local PTO. Katie, her husband Joey, and sons Elliott (6) and James (2) live in Birmingham, Alabama.
